Tourist trains are private attached sleeping-cars, running from Sapa, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Dong Hoi, Hue and Danang:

Trains run by private companies as Orient , King, Livitrans,Violette,Lotus, Laman, Pumpkin, Fansipan,   Hoa Phuong, Sapaly, Chapa, Victoria Express trains. Those are refurbished train wagons and it has 4-berth sleeper compartments of a higher standard than the normal standard Vietnamese Railways ones, but fares a bit higher but the quality much better as service and cleanness.
